Meet Offsite
Chapters
Coding agents work for hours, and every so often one of them needs you: a question, a change to look at, a test run to check. As long as their board is only on your desk, you stay at your desk.
Offsite keeps your agents on your machine and puts their board on every device you own. Your agent, the simulator, the browser and git are cards on one board per project, and every agent names its own card. Pick up your phone and it is the same board: type on one device and it shows on the other, keystroke by keystroke. Add more machines, give every task its own worktree, close the lid and keep shipping.
Tips
- Click the name on a card (tap it on the iPhone) to give it your own. The agent keeps naming its card until you do, and your name stays when the topic changes.
- Press + in the Worktrees column for a task with its own branch and folder. What you type as the task becomes the agent’s first prompt.
- If a MacBook is your host, keep it plugged in and turn off sleep with Keep the host awake: it keeps working with the lid closed.
